Dalton is part of a North Carolina pageant dynasty (we were surprised as you to learn that such a thing exists Her mother was Miss North Carolina USA 1982 and her sister was Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2008.

Dalton, a blue-eyed blonde who studied psychology and Spanish at East Carolina University, hails from Wilmington and, according to the press release from the Miss USA organization, is a talented singer and dancer, though you wouldn't know it from the pageant, which, unlike Miss America, does not have a talent competition (although parading across a stage in a bikini designed by none other than esteemed tastemaker Jessica Simpson and gold high heels does require an abundance of balance, poise and at least two other things.

    Profile :
Dalton is the daughter of Jeannie Boger who was Miss North Carolina USA 1982. Her younger sister Julia Dalton was Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2008 and placed 2nd runner-up at Miss Teen USA 2008; the third Dalton sister Kenzie Dalton is engaged to Chad Michael Murray and also competed in the Miss North Carolina Teen USA pageant and placed 1st runner-up.

Dalton represented North Carolina in the Miss USA 2009 pageant broadcast live from Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada where she became the 2nd Miss North Carolina USA to win the Miss USA title; the state's only prior winner was Chelsea Cooley, Miss USA 2005.[5] Dalton won both the swimsuit and evening gown competitions during the final pageant competition, and was crowned by former titleholder Crystle Stewart of Texas.

    What does Flurge stand for?

The conversation at the Saturday Night Live (SNL)

FEY AS PALIN: "Don't refer to me as a 'MILF.'"

POEHLER AS CLINTON: "And don't refer to me as a [flurge].

    What does Flurge stand for?

Nobody seems to get the point. Flurge (or however it is spelled), in not a word itself, it is an acronym. Just like Milf means "mother I'd to f_ _ k, Flurge also "stands" for something. The trouble is, no one knows, and it is not something to look up in a dictionary. I have been googling too, and so far no luck. Some people are having fun trying to make up meanings, but no one seems to know yet. So far, my guess is that they just made up a word that sounded funny, but someone will come up with something that works.

Flurge is a verb. It means a cross between flush and purge.

Example of using the word "Flurge"

"I flurged the wax from my ears."

    According to Urban Dictionary,

Flurge is - A cross between flush and purge. The usage is defined as “I flurged the wax from my ears.”

What is interesting though that people hear the word somewhere and think its either Flurg, or Flirge, or Flerge, or Flerg.

It happened with me once when I heard during Democratic National Convention that Obama has won by, what I thought and what it sounded like to me, acclimation. Of course the word was something similar but different.

The word Flurge became famous and came into national consciousness during a skit performed by Saturday Night Live (SNL) that parodied Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton.
